Meet the perfect t-shirt material on the planet: the TRI-BLEND

If you’re anything like us, it’s the overall feel of the shirt. The more broken in the better. This is why we love the tri-blend material so much and why it’s our fabric of choice for our apparel.

Here’s some fabulous facts about our favorite fabric: the tri-blend. 

What is a tri-blend?

A tri-blend is a fabric made up of three different materials: 50% polyester, 25% cotton, and 25% rayon. They have comfort of cotton, durability of polyester, and the luxurious drape of rayon.

These trio of fibers make the fabric moisture-wicking, which makes it a suburb choice for athletic or athleisure wear. The weight is much lighter than a 100% cotton material, which makes it great for working out in. 

How does it feel?

Soft. Like, a ‘pile of baby chinchillas’ soft. The added rayon and the polyester give tri-blend t-shirts a little bit of stretch along with the added softness, making them incredibly comfortable to wear.

In terms of weight, tri-blends are more of a lighter material than the thicker jersey cotton blend. If you love light and airy shirts, then this will be a match made in heaven.

Do tri-blend shirts shrink?

Tri-blends don't shrink much at all relative to 100% cotton shirts. You can expect a tiny amount of shrinking, but it shouldn't affect the fit much at all in the long run.
