  1. Old Lady Gains was founded by Kim Munoz at age 45 who was frustrated by the lack of fitness options for women over 40. She wanted to create a brand that celebrated the strength and vitality of older women.

  2. The brand's original logo was created for a CrossFit masters partner's competition and featured an old woman head nestled between crossed barbells.

  3. Old Lady Gains offers a wide range of fitness apparel, including our most popular halter tank, hoodie sweatshirts, branded Junk Headbands, and stylish trucker hats, as well as branded steel water bottles. 

  4. Old Lady Gains has a strong online community, with almost 30k followers on social media. The brand's Instagram account features inspiring photos of women over 40 who are crushing their fitness goals.

  5. The brand's tagline is "Never Too Old" which reflects the belief that women can be powerful and fit at any stage of life.

  6. Old Lady Gains leased their first warehouse in the Fall of 2020 during the pandemic after such difficulties with supply-chain issues. There were no in person resources on screen printing and they had to learn everything about how-to screen print from YouTube. There were many days spent in tears of frustration and questioning if it was the right decision. It was!

  7. Several of the brands fitness models live across the country and have never met in person.

  8. Old Lady Gains is a Munoz family run and operated business. Mark, Kim's husband handles the day-to-day logistics of the operations. Adam, Kim's son, has created several of the designs artwork and Cass, Kim' daughter, is the ultimate Jack-of-Trades and will do the screen printing, to social media content, to order fulfillment and more.

  9. Comfort is the primary component for the brand's clothing. High-quality materials that are durable, yet soft, and long-lasting are so important that it's not uncommon to order 30 different samples of one style to find the perfect apparel to add to our collection.   11. The brands worst selling design featured the phrase "FUCK CANCER" on it with a kettle tied with a pink ribbon. It was created for our various family members that have (and still) battle cancer. We had three screen printing companies turn us down and refuse to print the design. It took us over 3 years to sell 30 tops. Our biggest lesson was while the statement resinates with anyone that has personal experience with the disease, few want to wear something that says fuck on it.
